Sir Charles Macara organised the first Lifeboat Saturday in 1891, which was also the world’s first street collection for the RNLI. Thousands of people paraded the streets and raised over £5,000 – that’s over £500,000 today. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to save lives for 200 years and counting. 

Specially made for the RNLI by St Nicolas, for over 30 years they have been creating fun, interesting and meaningful keepsakes. They work with a small charity in Thailand that helps women in rural areas find work within their community.
