Promotions Policy

From time to time, we will run offers and promotions which will be advertised and which shall be subject to the terms set-out in this Policy.  We can change this Policy or withdraw an offer or promotion at any time with reasonable notice by updating or supplementing this page from time to time [or by other form(s) of advertisement or notice to purchasers].

Any descriptions or terms of a promotion set out on our Site and/or marketing communication will apply to Products (“Promotion Terms”) in addition to these terms subject to any offers and promotions that we may choose to run from time to time (“Promotional Offers”).

All offers and promotions are also subject to our Terms and Conditions and subject to availability.

All our Promotional Offers are also subject to the following specific terms and conditions.

• Promotional Offers are only valid on full-priced items and cannot be used on sale or promotional items which are already discounted unless otherwise stated.

• Promotional Offers cannot be used on the following products: 
• Stamps 
• Coins 
• Virtual Gifts 
• Donations 

• The promotional offer is for your use only, and unless otherwise stated, it is not to be shared. 

• Promotional Offers are valid for a limited period of time as specified in the original marketing communication containing the Promotional Offer and cannot be used outside of that period.

• All offers and promotions are only available online by purchasing products from the RNLI Shop at shop.RNLI.org and are not valid for purchases made in our shops or over the phone unless expressly stated otherwise.

• All orders are subject to stock availability, and we reserve the right to withdraw, amend or extend Promotional Offers at any time.

• Unless otherwise stated below, you can only use one promotion code or discount offer per order. You can't combine offers.

• Unless otherwise stated, you cannot combine offers or promotional codes.  

• Delivery charges may still apply when ordering online, unless otherwise stated. If products are to be delivered outside of the UK (including Republic of Ireland), you agree to be responsible for any fees incurred, including any applicable customs duties or taxes. All offers and promotions are also subject to our Terms and Conditions and subject to availability. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Promotion Terms, then the Promotion Terms will prevail.

We reserve the right to decline to accept orders where, in our reasonable opinion, a promotion code or discount is the subject of fraudulent or other improper activity.

The current promotions are:
1.    Spend £50 or over for Free Standard Delivery 
Standard Delivery is free for UK and Channel Islands orders when you spend £50 or over. This includes Virtual Gifts and any donations made to RNLI at checkout.

2.    Volunteers and Staff Discount 
(a) Volunteers and Staff Discount are eligible for a 10% discount on their purchases in shops, retail branches and shop.RNLI.org excluding, all donations, all purchases of Virtual Gifts, all stamps and coins and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. 

(b) To retrieve the Discount Code in shops and branches, take your products to the till point/area and let the retail volunteer know you are a volunteer (either by using your ID card or by quoting the on-line shop discount code). For staff please present your ID card to redeem the discount.

(c) To retrieve the Discount Code on line simply enter the code that can be found on compass and the volunteering zone which must be added at checkout at shop.RNLI.org to redeem the discount.

(d) The Discount Code is available to Volunteers and Staff only and must not be shared or copied with or used by anyone who is not an RNLI Volunteer or RNLI Staff. The discount is only for purchases for the volunteer or staff member personal use or as a gift. No items purchased using the volunteers and staff discount code is to be resold.

(e) Each Discount Code will be valid for a limited time only, please check compass and the volunteering zone for details of the current Discount Code and when the Discount Code is valid. Purchases on Shop.RNLI.org using expired Discount Codes shall not be entitled to the discount.

(f) Whilst it remains valid, there is no limit to how many times the discount /  Discount Code can be used for orders placed, and no maximum value of order or maximum discount per transaction / order.

(g) The Discount Code will not be added to your order automatically if you visit Shop.RNLI.org. You will be required to enter the Discount Code when you go through checkout. If you mis-spell the Discount Code or do not enter a valid Discount Code for your order then no promotional discount will be applied to your order.

(h) Shop.RNLI.org -No responsibility is accepted for any Discount Code that is unable to be applied due to any technical or other reason.

(i) If you return an item purchased using the Discount Code then the amount refunded will be adjusted to take into account the discount applied as part of the promotion. Please see the Returning goods bought as part of a promotional offer section of our Returns Information for details of returns and refunds of products that have been purchased using a Discount Code.
