Will Bees Bespoke Collection

The beautiful pieces in this collection have been carefully handcrafted by Will Bees Bespoke using luxurious, top-quality fabrics. Alongside natural, vegetable-tanned leathers is a silky soft velvet featuring a stunning design. This exclusive design has been created by Emma Mawston, Former Head of Design at Liberty, to celebrate 200 years of RNLI lifesaving.

Designing the fabric

The beautiful pieces in this collection have been brought to life by Emma Mawston’s stunning fabric, designed exclusively for the RNLI. Former Head of Design at Liberty, Emma drew her inspiration from the RNLI’s rich history and has included symbols that represent the amazing work of our charity. For example, the yellow rose represents the friendship and joy found in RNLI communities. And the star boat badge symbolises a beacon of hope, which the RNLI is to everyone they rescue.

Designing the fabric

'As I drew and painted the design, I listened to rescue stories told by RNLI lifeboat crews. Each element has been carefully chosen to symbolise different parts of the RNLI’s 200-year history and lifesaving work.'

About Will Bees Bespoke

Based in the coastal town of Salcombe in Devon, Will Bees launched his brand Will Bees Bespoke in 2014 by opening his combined workshop and retail space. There, Will and his team handcraft beautiful products using luxurious, natural vegetable-tanned leathers and top-quality textiles.

Their shop is just a short walk away from Salcombe Lifeboat Station, so the RNLI means a lot to the team at Will Bees Bespoke. The co-owner of the company, James Marshall, is a volunteer crew member.
