About the author
ROGER BARRETT is the curator of both Salcombe Lifeboat Museum and Salcombe Maritime Museum and a former Station Manager at the Prawle Point National Coastwatch Station. He has written a number of books about the history of Salcombe and the South Hams coast including The Salcombe Lifeboat Disaster27 October 1916, published by Salcombe RNLI.
