Last summer was one of our busiest ever. Our lifeguards kept hundreds of thousands of people safe on the beach. Now they need your help to get ready for next year.

4. At the same time, the RNLI will use the gift you’ve bought to help our lifesaving work.

About your gift:

This Lifesaving Gift could help fund our lifeguard service on over 240 beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. This includes the cost of supervising beaches, providing and maintaining rescue equipment, running and maintaining lifeguard units, and providing essential lifeguard training and kit.

A wetsuit is part of that essential kit. RNLI wetsuits take a pasting and every year we have to replace hundreds of them. They help our lifeguards to retain body heat in the water and protect against scrapes, bumps and the sun’s harmful rays – just what our lifeguards need when saving lives at the beach.
