These cufflinks have been handcrafted with wood from an RNLI flagpole. The flagpole stood on the Isle of Man at Ramsey Lifeboat Station from 1924. The Isle of Man is where RNLI Founder Sir William Hillary was inspired to start the institution. Now, the flagpole that stood on that very ground has been repurposed for this collection.
They have been made in England by Man & Bear, experts in creating luxury accessories using traditional techniques. The cufflinks are made from solid brass and inlaid with the wood from the flagpole, and engraved with the words ‘RNLI 200 years and counting’.
